Fluticasone furoate works by inhibiting the production of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. Vilanterol functions by relaxing the air passages in the lungs, making breathing easier.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Fluticasone Furoate and Vilanterol include nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), upper respiratory tract infection, headache, fungal infection of the mouth, back pain, pneumonia, bronchitis (inflammation of the airways), sinus inflammation, cough, oropharyngeal pain, joint pain, high blood pressure, influenza, sore throat, and fever.
