How it Works

How Formoterol and Fluticasone Propionate work Formoterol and Fluticasone Propionate is a combination of two medications: Formoterol and Fluticasone Propionate. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) of the airways. Together, they facilitate easier breathing.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Formoterol and Fluticasone Propionate include headache, cough, upper respiratory tract infection, nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), sinus inflammation, stomach discomfort, fungal infection of the oropharynx, tremors, palpitations, and voice changes.
