How it Works

How Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate Work Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic that prevents the breakdown of blood clots and controls excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic that enhances the ability of platelets to adhere to one another and form blood clots. Additionally, it helps control bleeding from small blood vessels, known as capillaries.
