Side Effects
Common side effects of Rifampicin, Isoniazid, Ethambutol, Pyrazinamide, and Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) include nausea, vomiting, rash, fever, dark-colored urine, sweating, increased sputum production, salivation, watery eyes, peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness in the hands and feet), increased liver enzymes, jaundice, elevated uric acid levels in the blood, and visual impairment.

- Rifampicin + Isoniazid + Ethambutol + Pyrazinamide + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) must be taken on an empty stomach at the same time every day.
- Do not skip any doses and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better.
- Stopping the treatment early may cause the infection to return and become harder to treat.
- Discontinue Rifampicin + Isoniazid + Ethambutol + Pyrazinamide + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and inform your doctor immediately if you experience:
- a rash
- itchy skin
- swelling of the face and mouth
- difficulties in breathing
- It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids and maintain a healthy diet while taking the medication.
- This medication may cause dizziness. Avoid driving or engaging in activities that require mental focus until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication, as it may increase the risk of side effects.
