  • It may also be used to prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women at high risk of fractures.
  • Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience any of the following while taking Estriol:
    • Unusual vaginal bleeding or spotting
    • Abnormal vaginal discharge
    • Vaginal discomfort
  • Estriol may increase the risk of breast cancer; therefore, have regular breast examinations.
  • Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following symptoms:
    • Unexplained swelling and pain in your limbs
    • Shortness of breath
    • Chest pain
    • Changes in vision
  • These symptoms could indicate a blood clot in a vein.
