Enrofloxacin Uses Enrofloxacin is used to treat bacterial infections. It is also effective for infections of the urinary tract, tonsils, sinuses, nose, throat, female genital organs, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

How it Works

How Enrofloxacin works: Enrofloxacin is an antibiotic that functions by inhibiting the activity of a bacterial enzyme known as DNA gyrase. This action prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing themselves, ultimately leading to their death.

Side Effects

Common side effects of enrofloxacin include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, and abnormal liver function tests.
