How Flunarizine and Domperidone Work Flunarizine and Domperidone is a combination of two medications: Flunarizine and Domperidone. Migraine headaches are believed to result from the dilation of blood vessels in the head. Flunarizine works by preventing the loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thereby helping to prevent migraine headaches. Domperidone is a prokinetic agent that acts on the area of the brain that controls vomiting. It also influences the upper digestive tract to enhance the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to pass more easily through the stomach.
