Common side effects of Dolutegravir include headache, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, fatigue, muscle pain, and increased liver enzymes.

Expert Advice

  • Take Dolutegravir with or without food, preferably at the same time every day.
  • Do not skip any doses and complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better.
  • Avoid taking antacids or calcium supplements one hour before or two hours after taking Dolutegravir.
  • Your doctor may regularly monitor your liver function during treatment.
  • Inform your doctor if you notice any of the following symptoms:
    • Yellowing of the eyes or skin
