Metronidazole is an antibiotic that kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging their DNA. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide that acts within the intestines to eliminate infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). It is included in cases of severe intestinal infections. Dimethicone is an antifoaming agent that breaks down gas bubbles, facilitating the easy passage of gas.
