How it Works

How Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid, and Pamabrom work Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid, and Pamabrom is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid, and Pamabrom. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic that works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines. It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and relieves cramps and bloating. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain. Pamabrom is a diuretic that increases urine production to remove excess water from the body and relieve premenstrual symptoms such as bloating, water retention, swelling, and the sensation of fullness.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid, and Pamabrom include dryness in the mouth, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, dyspepsia, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, itching, ringing in the ears, and breathlessness.
