How it Works

How Dicyclomine, Magaldrate, and Simethicone work Dicyclomine, Magaldrate, and Simethicone is a combination of three medications: Dicyclomine, Magaldrate, and Simethicone. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic that works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines, stopping sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing so, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Magaldrate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes excess stomach acid. Simethicone is an antifoaming agent that breaks down gas bubbles, allowing for easier passage of gas.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Dicyclomine, Magaldrate, and Simethicone include nausea, constipation, dryness in the mouth, chalky taste, diarrhea, blurred vision, sleepiness, weakness, nervousness, and dizziness.
