Uses
Dalteparin is used to prevent acute coronary syndrome, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism. It helps prevent the formation of blood clots in the legs, lungs, brain, or heart.

Common side effects of Dalteparin include bruising, increased liver enzymes, injection site hematoma, hemorrhagic complications, injection site bruising, and nosebleeds.

- Using sharp objects
- Cutting fingernails or toenails

- NSAIDs

- Bleeding from gums, nose, or wounds that lasts more than 15 minutes
- Blood in your urine, stool, or vomit
