How Dactinomycin works Dactinomycin is an anti-cancer medication that functions by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of cancer cells, thereby inhibiting their growth and multiplication.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Dactinomycin include nausea, vomiting, rash, difficulty swallowing, hair loss, fatigue, fever, liver toxicity, anemia (low red blood cell count), decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), and mucositis.
