How Dexamethasone, Framycetin, and Clotrimazole work Dexamethasone, Framycetin, and Clotrimazole is a combination of three medicines: Dexamethasone, Framycetin, and Clotrimazole. Dexamethasone is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause the skin to become red, swollen, and itchy. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication that kills and inhibits the growth of fungi by destroying their cell membranes. Framycetin is an antibiotic that prevents bacterial growth on the skin by inhibiting the synthesis of essential proteins required for bacterial vital functions. Together, they effectively treat skin infections.

Common side effects of Dexamethasone, Framycetin, and Clotrimazole include application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness.

- Dexamethasone, Framycetin, and Clotrimazole must be applied as a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor.
