Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) responsible for making the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal that prevents the growth of fungi by inhibiting their ability to form protective coverings. Neomycin is an antibiotic that halts bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for vital bacterial functions.
