How Nebivolol and Chlorthalidone work Nebivolol and Chlorthalidone is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medications: Nebivolol and Chlorthalidone. Nebivolol is a beta blocker that specifically targets the heart to reduce heart rate and enhance the heart's efficiency in pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that lowers blood pressure by eliminating excess water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time, it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Nebivolol and Chlorthalidone include nausea, fatigue, headache, dizziness, increased blood uric acid, decreased potassium levels in the blood, glucose intolerance, altered blood lipid levels, breathlessness, paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), decreased magnesium levels in the blood, and increased calcium levels in the blood.
