Chlordiazepoxide + Clidinium + Pantoprazole

Uses

Pantoprazole, Chlordiazepoxide, and Clidinium are used in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

How it Works

How Pantoprazole, Chlordiazepoxide, and Clidinium work Pantoprazole, Chlordiazepoxide, and Clidinium is a combination of three medications used to treat irritable bowel syndrome. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid in the stomach, relieving acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine that enhances the action of a chemical messenger (GABA), which suppresses abnormal and excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium is an anticholinergic medication that relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestines. It prevents sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby alleviating cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Pantoprazole, Chlordiazepoxide, and Clidinium include nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, difficulty urinating, drowsiness, impaired coordination, and confusion.
