Chloramphenicol, Dexamethasone, and Polymyxin B are used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections.

How it Works

How Chloramphenicol, Dexamethasone, and Polymyxin B work Chloramphenicol, Dexamethasone, and Polymyxin B is a combination of two antibiotics (Chloramphenicol and Polymyxin B) and a steroid (Dexamethasone). The antibiotics work by killing bacteria or inhibiting their growth, effectively treating your infection. The steroid blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause the affected area to become red, swollen, and itchy.
