How it Works

How Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, and Cetirizine Work Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, and Cetirizine is a combination of three medicines that relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist that narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Cetirizine is an antihistamine that alleviates allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, and Cetirizine include nausea, dryness of the mouth, dizziness, fatigue, palpitations, high blood pressure, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), allergic reactions, and sleepiness.
