Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that alleviates cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and alleviates minor throat irritation. Cetirizine is an antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Phenylpropanolamine is a sympathomimetic agonist that narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Menthol, Cetirizine, and Phenylpropanolamine include nausea, upset stomach, sleepiness, high blood pressure, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and palpitations.
