How Formoterol + Budesonide works Formoterol + Budesonide is a combination of two medications: Formoterol and Budesonide. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways and widens them. Budesonide is a steroid that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing inflammation (swelling) of the airways. Together, these medications make breathing easier.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Formoterol and Budesonide include cough, headache, nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), upper respiratory tract infection, sinus inflammation, stomach discomfort, fungal infection of the oropharynx, tremors, palpitations, and voice changes.
