How it Works

How Guaifenesin, Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Paracetamol, and Ephedrine work Guaifenesin, Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Paracetamol, and Ephedrine is a combination of five medicines: Guaifenesin, Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Paracetamol, and Ephedrine. Guaifenesin and Bromhexine assist in the removal of mucus (phlegm) from the airways. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antihistamine that alleviates allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Paracetamol serves as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer) by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Ephedrine acts as a decongestant, narrowing small blood vessels to provide relief from nasal congestion or stuffiness.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Guaifenesin, Bromhexine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, Paracetamol, and Ephedrine include nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, rash, hives, allergic reactions, sleepiness, dizziness, headache, anxiety, restlessness, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and increased heart rate.
