Do not skip doses and complete the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better, as stopping early may increase the risk of further infection.
Exercise caution while driving or engaging in activities that require concentration, as the medication may cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Avoid alcohol during treatment and for 2-3 days after completing the course of this medication.
Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, flushing, and headache.
