How it Works

How Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide work Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide is a combination of three anti-HIV medications. Bictegravir is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor that prevents HIV replication. Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Alafenamide inhibit a viral enzyme called reverse transcriptase and block viral DNA synthesis, thereby preventing HIV replication.
