How Betamethasone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Urea work Betamethasone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Urea is a combination of four medications used to treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid that inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) responsible for making the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Urea are keratolytic agents that break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. They also enhance the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Betamethasone, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Urea include application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness.
