Beclometasone + Chloramphenicol + Clotrimazole + Gentamicin + Lidocaine (Lignocaine)

Uses

Chloramphenicol, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole, Gentamicin, and Lidocaine are used in the treatment of ear infections.

How it Works

How Chloramphenicol, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole, Gentamicin, and Lidocaine work Chloramphenicol, Beclometasone, Clotrimazole, Gentamicin, and Lidocaine is a combination of five medicines used to treat ear infections. Chloramphenicol and Gentamicin are antibiotics that inhibit the growth of bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins needed for their vital functions. While this does not directly kill the bacteria, it stops their proliferation and ultimately clears the infection. Beclometasone is a steroid that works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication that kills and inhibits the growth of fungi by destroying their cell membranes, thereby treating the infection. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain, reducing the sensation of pain.
