How Amlodipine + Ramipril Works Amlodipine + Ramipril is a combination of two medications: amlodipine and ramipril, which effectively lower blood pressure. It works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more smoothly and enabling the heart to pump blood more efficiently.

Common side effects of Amlodipine and Ramipril include palpitations, dizziness, edema (swelling), gastroenteritis, and breathlessness.

  • Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of future heart attacks and strokes.
