How Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine work: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine is a combination of two medications that effectively lower blood pressure. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). Together, they work by relaxing the blood vessels and enhancing the heart's efficiency in pumping blood throughout the body.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Olmesartan Medoxomil and Amlodipine include sleepiness, ankle swelling, headache, dizziness, edema (swelling), abdominal pain, increased triglyceride levels in the blood, increased uric acid levels in the blood, visual disturbances, pharyngitis, bronchitis (inflammation of the airways), cough, joint inflammation, bone pain, blood in urine, and pitting edema.
