Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). Together, they work by widening and relaxing blood vessels, which helps to lower blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also contributes to relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Losartan, Amlodipine, and Chlorthalidone include ankle swelling, headache, dizziness, tiredness, palpitations, sleepiness, increased blood uric acid, glucose intolerance, changes in taste, flushing (a sensation of warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), upset stomach, and altered blood lipid levels.
