How Losartan, Amlodipine, and Chlorthalidone work Losartan, Amlodipine, and Chlorthalidone is a combination of three medications: Losartan, Amlodipine, and Chlorthalidone. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), while Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). Together, they work by widening and relaxing blood vessels, which helps to lower blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that removes excess water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also contributes to relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Side Effects
