You have been prescribed Amlexanox for the treatment of mouth sores.
The optimal times to apply the medication are:
- After brushing/flossing, following meals
- At bedtime
Avoid direct contact with the eyes. In case of contact, promptly wash the eye with a sufficient amount of water.
The medication may cause temporary pain and burning at the application site. Inform your doctor if these symptoms persist.
If significant healing or pain relief has not occurred within 10 days, consult your dentist or physician.
Stop using Amlexanox and inform your doctor if you notice:
