It adheres to the moist surfaces of the mouth, forming a protective film over the ulcerated or injured areas, which accelerates the healing process.

- The optimal times to apply the medication are:
- After brushing/flossing, following meals
- At bedtime
- Avoid direct contact with the eyes. In case of contact, promptly wash the eye with a sufficient amount of water.
- The medication may cause temporary pain and burning at the application site. Inform your doctor if these symptoms persist.
- If significant healing or pain relief has not occurred within 10 days, consult your dentist or physician.

- Skin rash
- New mouth ulcers
- White patches inside your mouth or on your lips
