How Methoxsalen and Aminobenzoic Acid Work Methoxsalen and Aminobenzoic Acid is a combination of two medicines. Methoxsalen is an organic compound used in conjunction with ultraviolet-A irradiation. It works by decreasing the number of cells the skin produces and regulating the overgrowth of skin cells. Aminobenzoic Acid helps prevent sunburn and premature aging of the skin.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Methoxsalen and Aminobenzoic Acid include nausea, itching, and erythema (skin redness).
