Acalabrutinib is used in the treatment of blood cancer.
How it Works
Acalabrutinib works by inhibiting the action of an abnormal protein that promotes the proliferation of cancer cells. This mechanism helps to prevent the spread of cancer cells.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Acalabrutinib include anemia (low red blood cell count), decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), upper respiratory tract infection, low platelet count, headache, diarrhea, and musculoskeletal pain (bone, muscle, or joint pain).

- Avoid contact sports or situations where you may bruise or get injured, as this medicine increases the risk of bleeding.
- Inform your doctor about any planned surgeries or dental procedures while taking Acalabrutinib.
