How to use UT-Lib Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. UT-Lib Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How UT-Lib Tablet works UT-Lib Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Flavoxate, which treats urinary tract infections. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Flavoxate is an anti-spasmodic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination, and relieves associated pain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with UT-Lib Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
UT-Lib Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
UT-Lib Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
UT-Lib Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.You may experience drowsiness, blurred vision or vertigo whilst taking UT-Lib Tablet. This may affect your ability to drive.
UT-Lib Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of UT-Lib Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of UT-Lib Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
