You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Triolsar 20 HS Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
Triolsar 20 HS Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine and Chlorthalidone. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Triolsar 20 HS Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Triolsar 20 HS Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Triolsar 20 HS Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Triolsar 20 HS Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Triolsar 20 HS Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Caution Advised: Triolsar 20 HS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Triolsar 20 HS Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Triolsar 20 HS Tablet is not recommended in these patients.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Triolsar 20 HS Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
