How Salamax Tablet DR works Salamax Tablet DR is a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatoid Drug (DMARD). It works by suppressing the overactivity of the immune system in autoimmune diseases and blocks the chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Salamax Tablet DR as it is deemed unsafe.
Salamax Tablet DR is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Salamax Tablet DR is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Salamax Tablet DR does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Salamax Tablet DR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Salamax Tablet DR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Salamax Tablet DR is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Salamax Tablet DR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
