How it works
Mezolam Injection is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Mezolam Injection as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Mezolam Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Mezolam Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Mezolam Injection should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Mezolam Injection should be gradual.
Not Safe: Mezolam Injection may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Mezolam Injection may make the patient sleepy, forgetful or affect their concentration or coordination. This may affect their ability to drive.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Mezolam Injection is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
