Worms enter your child?s body when your child eats or drinks something that?s infected with a worm or its eggs. Mebex Oral Suspension works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. Safe when prescribed by an expert: Mebex Oral Suspension is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Mebex Oral Suspension is recommended.
Caution Advised: Mebex Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mebex Oral Suspension may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Monitoring of liver function tests (LFT) and complete blood count (CBC) is recommended while your child is taking Mebex Oral Suspension.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
