In Tuberculosis (TB) Isonex 300mg Tablet is used to treat tuberculosis, an infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs but can affect other parts of the body as well. It kills and stops the growth of infection causing bacteria and helps in treating the infection. Take it in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor as doing so may cause the infection to return or worsen. Follow your doctor?s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Isonex 300mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid Isonex 300mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Isonex 300mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by killing the bacteria that causes tuberculosis.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Isonex 300mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Isonex 300mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Isonex 300mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Isonex 300mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Isonex 300mg Tablet can cause fits, mental health problems and optic neuritis (inflammation of the optic nerve that may cause loss of vision.) This may affect your driving ability.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Isonex 300mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Isonex 300mg Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Isonex 300mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Isonex 300mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Isonex 300mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Isonex 300mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
