In Cancer Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection is a combination of two medicines Ifomaside and Mesna. It is used to treat various cancers such as testicular cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, cancer of the ovaries (cancer that begins in the female reproductive organs where eggs are formed), cancer of the cervix, and cancer that forms in muscles and bones. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells. Mesna present in Holoxan 100mg/2gm Injection reduces the risk of inflammation and bleeding of the bladder which is a very serious side effect of treatment with Ifosfamide.
