Dorzilid 600mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Dorzilid 600mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Dorzilid 600mg Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Dorzilid 600mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dorzilid 600mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Limited information is available on the use of Dorzilid 600mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Dorzilid 600mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
