Take it as prescribed by your doctor, and do not stop using it unless you are advised otherwise.

How to use Coldrif Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Coldrif Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Coldrif Tablet works Coldrif Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Caffeine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a decongestant. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol and decreases sleepiness due to Chlorpheniramine Maleate.

Coldrif Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
