Neuropathic pain

In Neuropathic pain Zengaline-PG Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat long-lasting (chronic) pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles or spinal cord injury. It reduces pain and its associated symptoms such as mood changes, sleep problems, and tiredness. Pregabalin, an active ingredient of this medicine, is thought to work by interfering with pain signals that travel through the damaged nerves and the brain. It also contains nutritional supplements that improve nerve conduction.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Sleepiness, Tiredness, Uncoordinated body movements']

Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zengaline-PG Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.

Zengaline-PG Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Levo-carnitine, Methylcobalamin and Pregabalin. Levo-carnitine provides essential nutrients to the nerves. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Zengaline-PG Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Zengaline-PG Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Zengaline-PG Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Zengaline-PG Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Zengaline-PG Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zengaline-PG Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Zengaline-PG Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zengaline-PG Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Zengaline-PG Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Zengaline-PG Tablet for treating and preventing nerve pain. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Zengaline-PG Tablet, as it may cause excessive sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior. Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor.
