How Tolpirag-P Tablet works Tolpirag-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tolperisone and Paracetamol, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Tolpirag-P Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

Tolpirag-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tolpirag-P Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, Tolpirag-P Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

Liver

Tolpirag-P Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tolpirag-P Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, the use of Tolpirag-P Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Tolpirag-P Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Older adults may have increased drowsiness, confusion, and higher risk of falling while taking Tolpirag-P Tablet. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
