Telmis Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How it works
How Telmis Trio Tablet works Telmis Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmisartan, Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telmis Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Telmis Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Telmis Trio 40mg/5mg/12.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
