How to use Stimat Tablet MDFollow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Stimat 5mg Tablet MD is to be taken with food.
How Stimat Tablet MD works Stimat 5mg Tablet MD is a vestibular suppressant, i.e., it suppresses the vestibular apparatus in the inner ear by blocking the H1 receptor and stops vertigo. It acts within 30 minutes and, therefore, is effective during acute attacks. It also acts as a dopamine antagonist. Dopamine controls the region in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting, and this medicine blocks the action of dopamine. Therefore, Stimat 5mg Tablet MD shows an anti-nauseating and antiemetic action. The mechanism of action by which prochlorperazine relieve headache and anxiety is probably related to it being serotonin (5HT3) receptor antagonist and dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Stimat 5mg Tablet MD may lead to excessive drowsiness.
