Pnv New Tablet contains meclizine, an antihistamine with antiemetic properties used to help prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness associated with motion sickness and to relieve vertigo (a sensation of spinning or imbalance) caused by inner‑ear conditions. Meclizine works by blocking certain signals in the brain that can trigger these symptoms. It is generally taken before travel to help reduce motion‑related discomfort and may be used under medical direction for vertigo relief.
Pnv New Tablet is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea, vomiting, or dizziness associated with motion sickness, as well as the management of vertigo associated with diseases affecting the vestibular system.

Meclizine has a slower onset but a longer duration of action than some other antihistamines, with effects typically lasting up to 24 hours.

Take Pnv New Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor or according to the package directions. Do not take more than the recommended amount.
Meclizine works by reducing the activity of the vestibular system in the inner ear. It blocks the H1 histamine receptors and possesses anticholinergic activity, preventing the transmission of nerve impulses from the inner ear to the vomiting center and the brain's balance centers.
Consuming alcohol while taking this medicine can drastically increase drowsiness and impair motor function.
Large scale studies have not shown an increased risk of abnormalities, but you should only take it if clearly needed.
It is not known whether meclizine passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby.
This medicine frequently causes significant drowsiness and blurred vision. Do not drive until you are sure you are fully alert.
Patients with liver impairment should use this medicine with caution.
Use with caution if you have severe renal impairment.
Stay hydrated. Sucking on sugarless hard candy or ice chips can help relieve dry mouth.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Your dose will be determined by your doctor or the instructions on the package based on your age and the condition being treated. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line immediately. Symptoms of a meclizine overdose may include extreme drowsiness, seizures, a very rapid heartbeat, or extreme dry mouth and dilated pupils.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose.
