How to use Pix Sublingual tablet Place the tablet under the tongue or between the cheek and gum, and let it dissolve. Do not chew, crush, or swallow the tablet. Pix-SL Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Pix Sublingual tablet works Pix-SL Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation (pain and swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Pix-SL Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pix-SL Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Pix-SL Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pix-SL Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Pix-SL Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pix-SL Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.
Pix-SL Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Pix-SL Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Pix-SL Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
