By lowering your blood pressure, it is reducing your risk of heart attack or stroke so do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to. Together they help to relax blood vessels and make it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. This lowers blood pressure. If your blood pressure is controlled you are less at risk of having a heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems. The medicine must be taken regularly as prescribed to be effective. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Olmin 40 LN Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Cilnidipine which lower blood pressure effectively. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
Alcohol
Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Olmin 40 LN Tablet . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.
Pregnancy
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Olmin 40 LN Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Information regarding the use of Olmin 40 LN Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
Driving
Not Safe: Olmin 40 LN Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Caution Advised: Olmin 40 LN Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Olmin 40 LN Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
Liver
Caution Advised: Olmin 40 LN Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Olmin 40 LN Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild liver disease.

Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may cause you to feel lightheaded or weak especially when you stand up.� Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.� Avoid consuming alcohol as it may enhance the blood pressure lowering effect of this medicine. It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while�you are sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away. Do not take Olmin 40 LN Tablet if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
