It relieves the symptoms of acidity such as indigestion, stomach pain, or irritation. It also decreases the acid production in the stomach to relieve heartburn. Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet is taken without food, following the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are diarrhea, constipation, headache, fatigue, muscle pain, dryness in mouth, and flushing of skin. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Nausea / Acidity
In Nausea Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or cancer treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from cancer treatments such as radiation therapy or chemotherapy. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed. In Acidity Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet relieves excessive acidity in your stomach which prevents heartburn and indigestion. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition. Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ondansetron and ranitidine which prevent nausea and vomiting. Ondansetron is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that can trigger nausea and vomiting. Ranitidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving

If a dose of Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Myset R 4mg/150mg Tablet is used to give relief from nausea, vomiting as well as acidity, heartburn and other discomfort associated with acid reflux. It is advisable to take your doses about 3-4 hours before meals. If you vomit within one hour of taking a dose, take another dose. Avoid taking soft drinks, citrus fruits like orange and lemon, which can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion. Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity:Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water.Avoid spicy and fatty fried food.Lose weight if you are obese.If you are a smoker, consider giving up.Don't drink too much alcohol.Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for sometimes for better digestion.
