How to use Mizral-F Tablet ERFollow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mizral-F 10 Tablet ER is to be taken empty stomach.
How Mizral-F Tablet ER works Mizral-F 10 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevents migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Mizral-F 10 Tablet ER as it is deemed unsafe.
Mizral-F 10 Tablet ER may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
